Pupil Leadership
At St Thomas More Catholic Primary School, we believe that every child has the potential to be a leader. Our pupil leadership roles give children the opportunity to serve others, contribute to school life and make a positive difference to our community.
Through our Servant Leadership Programme, pupils in Years 3–6 are encouraged to take on responsibilities that help them grow in confidence, independence and compassion. These roles support our Catholic ethos by helping children understand that leadership is not just about being in charge, but about serving others with kindness, respect and commitment.

Why Pupil Leadership Matters
Pupil leadership helps children to develop important life skills, including communication, teamwork, responsibility, problem-solving and service. It gives pupils a voice and helps them understand that they can make a meaningful contribution to their school community.
By taking on leadership roles, our pupils learn to:
-
serve others with kindness and respect
-
take responsibility for their actions
-
work as part of a team
-
support younger pupils
-
care for our school environment
-
show confidence and initiative
-
live out our Catholic values in practical ways
Our pupil leaders are important role models across the school. They help make St Thomas More a welcoming, inclusive and caring place for everyone.
